Food Pantry
MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Food Pantry and Toiletry Closet is to alleviate food insecurity and meet other identified needs among CCC students, faculty and staff by providing emergency food to Coahoma Community College students, faculty, and staff in need. Recipients must show proof of a valid CCC Student or Employee ID.
VISION
The vision of the Food Pantry and Toiletry closet is to eliminate food insecurity and meet the basic needs of students, faculty and staff, on the campus of Coahoma Community College.
What's in the Pantry?
The Food Pantry includes non-perishables, toiletries and even a clothes closet. Because we often do not have enough, patrons are encouraged to bring their own bag (re-usable is best for future visits). The Food Pantry accepts any non-perishables, especially dry goods, and the pantry always welcomes gift cards to local grocery stores.
How Does it Work?
Students will be able to use a total of 100 points per semester for various food or toiletry items in the Tiger's Den Pantry.
